Midwest Oral Surgery & Dental Implants is a full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty practice that has been serving the Omaha, NE, and surrounding areas for decades. We are the experts in complicated tooth and wisdom tooth removal as well as the surgical placement of dental implants. Our team extracts over three thousand teeth and places hundreds of dental implants every single year. While extraction and dental implants may not be common procedures for most dentists, these are procedures we perform each and every day at our office. Dr. Jerome (Jerry) Wees
A board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Wees has been practicing at Midwest Oral Surgery & Dental Implants since 1995. Having been practicing for over 23 years, Dr. Wees is a member of many associations and participates in dozens of hours of continuing education every year. Dr. Wees maintains hospital privileges at Methodist Hospital, Bergan Mercy Medical Center, Alegent-Bergan Mercy Center, Bergan Surgery Center and Boys Town Hospital.
Dr. John Wewel
Wewel is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and Diplomat with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. With over seven years of surgical experience, Dr. Wewel is a member of many associations and societies within the oral and maxillofacial field. He retains hospital privileges at local hospitals like, the Nebraska Medical Center, Boys Town National Research Hospital, Methodist Hospital, Alegent-Bergan Mercy Center and Bergan Surgery Center.
Dr. Benjamin Anderson
Anderson graduated top of his class at the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a doctorate in dental surgery and has completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in 2015. He has been at Midwest Oral Surgery & Dental Implants since 2016 and is a member of several associations and organizations.
Dr. Jason R. May
Dr. Jason R. May is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He was born in Orange, California, and attended the University of California, Berkeley for undergraduate studies, graduated from UCLA with a doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) in 2010, and completed a one-year general practice residency in 2011 at the Veterans Administration Northern California Health Care System.
