How We Integrate Dental Technology
Oral and maxillofacial surgery benefits from advanced dental technology and state-of-the-art treatments for procedures to give patients optimal results. Our practice has adopted many different forms of dental technology, including digital technology, to give you more accurate and safe treatments every time. Our dental technology can benefit patients in all stages of the treatment planning and recovery process.
We begin most procedures with digital imaging of your mouth and jaw structure to capture highly detailed information to help during the planning process. You may be sedated before treatment to help block sensations of pain and relieve any anxiety. After treatment, we have special techniques that allow us to use your own DNA to improve natural healing. By combining this dental technology with our oral surgery expertise, patients enjoy improved procedural success and an improved quality of life.

Cone Beam CT Scanner
This digital dental technology allows us to capture highly detailed images of your entire jaw and face. These images show us the jaw bone levels, location of tooth roots and nerves within the bone. Cone beam CT scans help with many aspects of oral surgery, including full mouth reconstruction, tooth extraction, and full arch dental implants.

iTero® Element Scanner
The iTero intraoral camera provides us with a minimally invasive and more comfortable way to capture images of your teeth and how they connect. Instead of using goopy, gag-inducing impressions, this handheld camera quickly takes digital snapshots of your teeth that is immediately viewable by you and our doctors.

Intraoral Camera (IOC)
Intraoral Cameras (IOCs) are used to show a patient the interior of their mouth, as an alternative to using a mirror. IOCs allow the patient to see a clear picture of the inside of their mouth, aiding the doctor in consulting with them on various treatment options.
The Benefits of Dental Technology
Patients appreciate our use of digital technology as it often makes their appointments quicker, exposes them to less radiation, and is more detailed while also being minimally invasive. Our doctors believe in staying up to date on the latest in dental technology and trends by constantly integrating new procedures and techniques into use. We believe that these technologies we feature are directly linked to the improved success and comfortable care of our patients. This has allowed us to be a safe dental practice, able to give patients the care they deserve in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere.
